英語日記#20 ペイパービュー（PPV）について

おはようございます！
毎日継続していた日記が、昨日で途切れててしまいました。一回途絶えてしまうともう良いやって辞めやすくなってしまいますが、ここが正念場だと思って日記を続けたいと思います。

 The diary that I continued every day was interrupted yesterday.  Once I stop doing it, it becomes easier to quit, but I think that this is a critical moment and I would like to continue my diary.

今日は最近盛り上がっていた朝倉未来vsフロイドメイウェザーの試合でも採用されていたペイパービュー放送について考えで行きたいと思います。

Today, I would like to think about the pay-per-view broadcast that was used in the recent match between Mirai Asakura and Floyd Mayweather.

今までの興行の仕方とは異なる形でマネタイズしているのでは？と感じた点について考察していきたいと思います。
私が思う今までの興行のマネタイズと特に違う点をほどご紹介したいと思います。

Are you monetizing in a way that is different from how you have been doing business up until now?  I would like to consider the points that I felt.
 I would like to introduce what I think is particularly different from the monetization of the box office so far.

【興行マネタイズ方法の変化について】

具体的には、いままでは
①会場のチケット収入
②テレビ放送による放映権料
③そこに映るスポンサーからの収益

Specifically, until now

 (2) Television broadcast rights fee
 ③ Earnings from sponsors reflected there

の3本柱で興行を組み立てていたと思います。
いわば台風のように瞬間最大風速でのマネタイズがイベントの良さであり、その瞬間に稼げるだけ稼ぐのがイベントの特徴だったと思います。しかし、ペイパービューの仕組みを取り入れることにより、今までマネタイズしていなかった部分またはコントロールできなかったことにアップサイドを取れなかったところをマネタイズできる仕組みになっていると思います。具体的には、下記の点です。

⑤上記に伴い、スポンサー収入の最大化（ビュー数による重量課金やエビデンスによる広告費計算が可能になり、金額の納得感がでる）
⑥各視聴アプリのダウンロードまたはサブスク登録による、各アプリ内での課金ユーザーの獲得につながる

Among the above (1) to (3)
 (2) has disappeared, and (4) it has become possible to acquire viewing fees through pay-per-view (paid broadcasting).  If it is a large-scale industry, it is designed to ensure the maximum instantaneous wind speed without exception.
 ⑤In line with the above, maximization of sponsor income (weight billing based on the number of views and advertising cost calculation based on evidence will be possible, and the amount will be convincing)
 ⑥ Leading to the acquisition of paying users within each app by downloading or subscribing to each viewing app

これにより、興行の中身が大きく変わった点を考えて行きたいと思います。

・アプリやネット中心の配信になり、視聴ユーザーがグローバルに広がる
・視聴数の増加に伴い、興行のバジェットが大きくなり、ギャラの高いグローバルコンテンツを国内でもできるようになる
・アプリのダウンロードにより、興行のように瞬間最大風速収益だけでなく、その後の継続課金ユーザーのような余波によるマネタイズが可能になる

・It will be distributed mainly on apps and the Internet, and the number of viewers will spread globally.
 ・ As the number of viewers increases, the budget of the show will increase, and it will become possible to produce global content with high wages in Japan.
 ・By downloading the app, it is possible to monetize not only the instantaneous maximum wind speed revenue like the box office, but also the aftermath of the subsequent continuous billing users.

結果として、興行の幅が大きく広がり、今まで以上に面白く、世界的なイベントができるように変化したと思います。

日本のステレオタイプを破壊したRIZINは素晴らしい取り組みをしたと私は思っています。
