Gift

This March, I was blessed with the gift of a daughter for the first time. My son got married. In anticipation of Father's Day tomorrow, I received a gift of sake from my daughter. Neither my son nor my daughter drinks alcohol, but it was the brand of sake that my daughter's biological father loved. I took a sip of the gifted sake and felt a warm sense of contentment.
