エッセー「Prayer（祈り）」

When I raise my flashing sword
and my hand takes hold in judgement.
I will take vengeance upon mine enemies.
And I will repay those who haze me.
O Lord, raise me to Thy right hand and count me among Thy saints.

光の剣振り下ろす時
我が手は審判を得る
我が敵に復讐を誓い
これを倒すであろう
主よ　我を聖人の一人にお加え下さい

Whosoever shed my blood,
by man shall his blood be shed.
For in the image of God may deem a man.
Destroy all that which is evil.
So that which is good may flourish.
And I shall count thee amoung my favored sheep.
And you shall have the protection of all the angels in heaven.

人の血を流した者は
男により報いを受ける
その男とは神に許された者なり
悪なる者を滅ぼし
善なる者を栄えさせよ
汝を我が羊として数え
全ての天使の加護を与えん

Shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand.
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee.
And teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine patrie, et fili, et spiritu sancti.

主のために守らん
主の御力を得て
主の命を実行せん
川は主の下へ流れ
魂はひとつにならん
父と子と聖霊の御名において

Never shall innocent blood be shed.
Yet, the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river.
The three shall spread their blackened wings
and be the vengeful, striking hammer of God.

決して罪なき者の血は流すな
だが悪を行う者の血は川のごとく流せ
黒い翼を広げた男たちが
神の裁きを下すであろう

Now you will receive us.
We do not ask for your poor or your hungry.
We do not want your tired and sick.
It is your corrupt we claim.
It is your evil that will be sought by us.
With every breath, we shall hunt them down.
Each day we will spill their blood till it rains down from the skies.
Do not kill, do not rape, do not steal.
These are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
These are not polite suggestions. They are codes of behaviour,
and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
There are varying degrees of evil.
We urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds
and cross over into true corruption, into our domain.
For if you do, one day you will look behind you
and you will see we three.
And on that day, you will reap it.
And we will send you to whatever god you wish.

よく聞け
貧乏も飢えも許す
怠慢も堕落も許す
だが不正は許さん
悪事は見逃さない
地獄の果てまで追いつめる
悪事を働く者を殺し血の雨を降らせてやる
殺すな 姦淫するな 盗むな
これが神を信じる者の掟だ
人としての基本的な振る舞いだ
守らぬ者は死で報いよ
罪悪にも程度がある
それが軽い罪悪ならとがめはしない
だが度を超せば俺達の出番だ
お前達も罪を犯せば
必ず俺達が現れる
それは報いを受ける時だ
お前の信じる好きな神の下へ送ってやる
