しかし今は、罪から解放されて神の奴隷となり、聖潔に至る実を得ています。その行き着くところは永遠のいのちです。
罪の世界の中で罪の奴隷として過ごすか、神の世界の中で神の支配のもとで永遠のいのちを得るか、どちらかなのです。そして、それを決めるのは、私たち自身なのです。永遠のいのちは神様からの賜物です。私たちが神様の為に何か働いたことではなく、この世に貢献したからと言って得られるものでもありません。ただただ神様の恵みなのです。
今日も、神様の恵みを数えることができますように・・・。

But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
We can choose to spend our lives as slaves to sin in a world of sin, or we can choose to live eternal life under God's rule in His world. It is up to us. Eternal life is a gift from God. It is not something we have done for God or contributed to the world. It is simply God's grace.
May we count God's grace today as well.
