2022.2.22《今日の聖書》詩篇

『まるで私は　耳が聞こえず
　口で争わない人のようです。』

【詩38:14】

　表題には、「記念のためのダビデの賛歌」とあります。どんな苦しみの中にあっても、神に覚えられていたダビデをしのんでというような意味合いのようです。周りの人々がどんな罵詈雑言を吐こうと、非難中傷をしようと、耳に届かない、口論に走らない。それは、神への信頼があったからです。イエス様が沈黙のうちに十字架に架かったのも、聖書預言の成就と復活の希望があったからこそなのです。これも、神への絶対的な信頼なのです。

　今日も、主に信頼を寄せる一日となりますように・・・。

「Thus I am like a man who does not hear,
　And in whose mouth is no response.」

【Psa 38:14】

The title is "A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.” It would be meant as a memorial to David, who was remembered by God in the midst of all his suffering. No matter what abuse, accusations, and slander those around him hurled at him, he did not listen or refute them. It was because of his trust in God. It was because of the fulfillment of biblical prophecy and the hope of resurrection that Jesus silently went to the cross. This is also absolute trust in God.

May today be another day of trusting in the Lord.
