2022.12.22《今日の聖書》へブル人への手紙
『肉の父はわずかの間、自分が良いと思うことにしたがって私たちを訓練しましたが、霊の父は私たちの益のために、私たちをご自分の聖さにあずからせようとして訓練されるのです。』
私たちが生まれた時には、肉の親がいて、人間になる為の訓練をいろいろと施します。生まれたばかりの人間は、何にもできないし、人間として生きるための教育が必要となってきます。しかしながら、それだけではなく、人生のどこかで霊的な誕生が必要となってきます。創造主なる神様を知り、その遣わしたイエス様を知ることこそが、人生の目的なのです。
今日も、創造主なる神様を知ることができますように・・・。

「For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness.」
When we are born, we have parents of our flesh. They disciplined us in many ways to help us become human beings. When we are newborn, we cannot do anything, so we need to be educated to live as human beings. However, somewhere in our lives we need to have a spiritual birth. The purpose of life is for us to know God the Creator and to know Jesus whom He sent.
May we know God the Creator today as well.
