神はそのただ中におられその都は揺るがない。神は朝明けまでにこれを助けられる。
大都市の中心には、川が流れていて、農耕を豊かに支えていたり、人々の交易に利益をもたらしていました。しかし、エルサレムには川が流れていなかった。その中心は神様だったのです。そして、民が神様を捨てた時に、滅びがやってくるのです。エルサレムは、ＢＣ５８６年にバビロンに滅ぼされ、捕囚の民となったのです。
今日も、主の助けに支えられますように・・・。

God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
Rivers flowed through the center of many large cities. The abundant water supported their agriculture. Trade flourished because of the river. But there was no river flowing in Jerusalem. It was only God in her midst. And when the people abandoned God, they perished. Jerusalem was destroyed by Babylon in 586 BC, and the people went into captivity.
May we be supported by the Lord's help today.
