2022.12.13《今日の聖書》エペソ人への手紙

このキリストにあって、私たちはその血による贖い、背きの罪の赦しを受けています。これは神の豊かな恵みによることです。

【エペ1:7／新改訳2017】

　奴隷を解放するには、代価が必要でした。また、赦されるためには、動物の血の生贄が旧約時代は必要でした。その二つをイエス様の十字架によって成就させたのです。だから、今、私たちは代価を払う必要もないし、生贄を葬る必要もないのです。罪の奴隷から解放されたのも、罪赦されたのも、ただ、私たちをこよなく愛してくださる神様の恵みなのです。　

　今日も、主の恵みに感謝できますように・・・。

「In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace」

【Eph 1:7／NKJV】

To free a slave, a price had to be paid. Also, to be forgiven, animal blood sacrifice was necessary in Old Testament times. Both of these were fulfilled by the cross of Jesus. So now we do not have to pay the price or bury the sacrifice. It is only the grace of God who loves us so much that we have been freed from slavery to sin and forgiven of our sins.　

May we thank the Lord for His grace today.
