2023.7.29《今日の聖書》詩篇

『私はあなたのみことばを心に蓄えます。
　あなたの前に罪ある者とならないために。』

【詩篇　119:11】

　神様のみ言葉をたくさん心の中に刻み付けると、それが罪に対する抑止力となります。人生における指針となります。決断の時の基準となります。そして、一歩進んで、それを実行するならば、神様へ一歩近づくことになるのです。イエス様の似姿に近づくのです。でも、出来なくても、それはそれで良いのです。イエス様の十字架の下で、「出来ませんでした」と告白すればよいのです。あとは、イエス様がふさわしい港へと導いてくれる筈です。

　今日も、主のみ言葉を心に刻みつけることができますように・・・。　
　

「Your word I have hidden in my heart,
　That I might not sin against You!」　　　

【Psa 119:11】

　When we keep a lot of God's Word in our hearts, it becomes a deterrent against sin. It becomes a guideline for your life. It will be the basis for your decisions. And if you go one step further and do it, you will be one step closer to God. It brings us closer to the likeness of Jesus. But even if you can't do it, that's fine. At the foot of the cross of Jesus, all we have to do is confess, "I couldn't do it." After that, Jesus should lead us to the appropriate port.

May we all take the Lord's words to heart today.
