2023.3.20《今日の聖書》詩篇

『どうか敵から私たちを助けてください。
　人による救いはむなしいからです。』

【詩60:11】

自分がいかに弱く、愚かで、何の功績もない人間だと、思い知らされています。そして、年を重ねることは、知らないことがいかに多いかが、認識せざるを得ないのです。そんな私に、『主がお入り用なのです』と、選び救って下さったのです。主の期待に応えているかどうかは別にして、神による救いは、確かに、私を変えてくださったのです。

今日も、主の選びと救いに感謝できますよう・・・。

「Give us help from trouble,
　For the help of man is useless.」　

【Psa 60:11】

I am reminded of how weak, foolish and useless I am. And as I get older, I am forced to realise how much I don't know. Even then, the Lord chose and saved me, saying, ”The Lord needs you.” God's salvation has indeed changed me, whether or not I have lived up to His expectations.

May I thank the Lord for His choice and salvation today...
