『わが子よ。もし、あなたが隣人のために保証人となり、
　他人のために誓約をし、』

【箴言　6:1】

　イエス様は、私たちの隣人となりました。神様なのに私たちと同じ人間となられてこの世に降りてこられました。返済不可能な罪の負債を私たちの代わりに支払ってくださいました。頭にいばらの冠をかぶせられ、十字架上で血まみれになって死んでくださいました。そして、三日目に蘇られて私たちを救ってくださったのです。保証人たる全ての責務を担って下さったのです。

　今日も、隣人の為に祈る事ができますように・・・。　

「My son, if you become surety for your friend,
　If you have shaken hands in pledge for a stranger,」　

　【Proverbs 6:1】

　Jesus became our neighbor. Even though He is God, He became a human being just like us and came down to earth. He paid the unrepayable debt of sin in our place. He put a crown of thorns on our heads and bled to death on the cross. Then, on the third day, He rose from the dead and saved us. He bore all the responsibilities of a guarantor.

　May we pray for our neighbors today.
