『正しい天秤と秤は【主】のもの。
　袋の中の重り石もみな、主が造られたもの。』

【箴言　16:11】

　人は、心の中にそれぞれの物差しを持っています。その基準は、その人の価値観であったり、宗教観であったり、人生観であったりします。しかし、神なしの価値観も宗教観も人生観も虚しいものです。一時的には良くても、最後は惨めな結末に終わるのです。神様は、すべてを知っておられるのです。過去も現在も未来さえも支配し、その中で私たちを愛し、見守り、助けてくださっているのです。この神の愛の中で過ごすことが、結局、人生に余裕がでてくるのです。

　今日も、すべてを主に委ねることができますように・・・。

　　Each person has his or her own yardstick in his or her mind. The standard may be a person's values, religious view, or outlook on life. But without God, values, religious views, and life views are empty. They may be good for a time, but they end up miserable. God knows everything. He controls the past, the present, and even the future, and in the midst of it all, He loves us, watches over us, and helps us. Spending time in this love of God is what ultimately makes life more comfortable.

　May we entrust everything to the Lord today....
