『人の霊は病苦も忍ぶ。
　しかし、打ちひしがれた霊はだれが担えるだろう。』

【箴言　18:14】

　時々思います。今までに味わった事のない試練や病気に見舞われた時に果たして耐えられるだろうかと。しかし、神は愛なのです。人生の目的や意味を見失った人には、神の存在を知らしめ、愛や希望を見失った人には、見捨てることのない神を教え、罪に苦しんでいる人には、罪の赦しを宣言してくださる神を悟らせてくださるのです。「イザ42:3 傷んだ葦を折ることもなく、くすぶる灯芯を消すこともない」神のみが打ちひしがれた心を癒してくださるのです。

　今日も、主の御翼の陰で休まれますように・・・。　

「The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness,
　But who can bear a broken spirit ?」

　Sometimes I wonder. I wonder if I will be able to endure the trials and illnesses that I have never experienced before. But God is love. He lets those who have lost sight of the purpose and meaning of life know that God exists, those who have lost sight of love and hope know a God who will never abandon them, and those who are struggling with sin realize a God who declares forgiveness for their sins. Only God, who "(Isaiah 42:3） A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench" can heal a broken heart.
