2022.2.15《今日の聖書》コロサイ人への手紙
私たちは、あなたがたのことを祈るときにいつも、私たちの主イエス・キリストの父なる神に感謝しています。
「私たち」とは、使徒パウロとテモテ、「あなたがた」とは、コロサイ教会の人たちの事です。ここでパウロは、コロサイ人たちの信仰・希望・愛を褒めています。しかしながら、異端の勢力はここにも忍び寄っていました。だから、パウロは、この異端の勢力を削ぐ為に、この手紙を書いたのです。
今日も、父なる神様に感謝を捧げられますように。

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
"We" are the apostles Paul and Timothy, and "you" are the people of the Colossian church. In this verse, Paul praises their faith, hope, and love. However, heretics were sneaking up on them. That is why Paul wrote this letter to reject the power of heresy.
May we give thanks to God the Father today too.
