2023.1.17《今日の聖書》詩篇

『どうか悪しき者の悪が後を絶ち
あなたが正しい者を堅く立てられますように。
正しい神は心の深みまで調べられます。』

【詩7:9】

　自分がいかに弱く、愚かで、罪深いものであることを神様はすべてご存じです。自分でも気づかない心の深みまでも知っておられるのです。でも、イエス様は、一切責めることなく、神様の前で弁護してくださるのです。
私たちを愛し、赦し、受け入れて下さるのです。イエス様の流されし血潮のゆえに、堅く立つことができているのです。

　今日も、イエス様の十字架の愛に心を留めることができますように・・・。

「Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end,
But establish the just;
For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.」

【Psa 7:9】

God knows all about how weak, foolish, and sinful we are. He even knows the depths of our hearts that we are unaware of. But Jesus does not condemn us at all, but defends us before God. Jesus loves us, forgives us, and accepts us. Because of the blood that Jesus shed, we can stand firm.

May we set our mind on the love of the cross of Jesus today.
