2022.12.21《今日の聖書》イザヤ書
『【主】がその民の傷を包み、その打たれた傷を癒やされる日に、月の光は太陽の光のようになり、太陽の光は七倍になって、七日分の光のようになる。』
「光あれ！」で始まった神様の御業は、「七日分の光」のようになって終息するのです。聖書は、天地創造から新天新地までの神様の計画を示しています。その時には、月の光も太陽の光も必要ないのです。それよりも光り輝く神様の光がすべてを覆うからです。
今日も、主の御業に心を傾けることができますように・・・。

「Moreover the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, And the light of the sun will be sevenfold, As the light of seven days, In the day that the Lord binds up the bruise of His people And heals the stroke of their wound.」
God's work began with "Let there be light!" and ends as "Seven Days of Light. The Bible describes God's plan from creation to the New Heaven and New Earth. It requires no moonlight or sunlight. For the bright and shining light of God covers everything.
May our hearts be inclined to the Lord's work today.
