『【主】よ　私の祈りを聞き
　私の願いに耳を傾けてください。
　あなたの真実と義によって　私に答えてください。』

【詩篇　143:1】

　この祈りは、神の助けを要請する嘆願の祈りです。この作者は、抑圧された状況の中に置かれています。頼るのは、神のみなのです。私達も人生を歩んでいるとそのような状況の中に置かれるときがあります。そんな時に頼れる存在を持っていたら安心です。神様は良き神様、見捨てることなく、良き港へと導いてくださるという確信がある人が一番幸せなのです。

　今日も、主に依り頼むことができますように・・・。　

「Hear my prayer, O Lord,
　Give ear to my supplications!
　In Your faithfulness answer me,
　And in Your righteousness.」　

【Psalms 143:1】

This prayer is a plea for divine help. The author is placed in an oppressive situation. He has only God to rely on. We, too, are placed in such situations at times in our lives. It is a relief to know that we have someone we can rely on. The happiest people are those who have the confidence that God is a good God, that He will not abandon them, and that He will lead them to a good port.
