2023.9.21《今日の聖書》詩篇

『「さあ【主】の家に行こう。」
　人々が私にそう言ったとき　私は喜んだ。』

【詩篇　122:1】

　この当時、年に三回の巡礼が慣習となっていました。エルサレムから遠く離れていた人たちにとっては容易なものではありませんでした。でも、家族なのか、親戚なのか、知人なのか分かりませんが、誰かが「主の家に行こう」と、誘ったのです。その時、心が喜んだのです。そんな情景が浮かんできます。「主の家」は神殿を指します。今では、イエス様を信じる群れが「神の家」であり、「祈りの家」なのです。　

　今日も、主の喜びが我が喜びとなりますように・・・。　

「I was glad when they said to me,
　"Let us go into the house of the Lord."」　

【Psalms 122:1】

　At that time, it was customary to make three pilgrimages a year. It was not easy for those who were far from Jerusalem. However, whether they were family, relatives, or acquaintances, someone invited them saying, "Let's go into the house of the Lord." At that time, my heart rejoiced. I can imagine such a scene. “The house of the Lord” refers to the temple. Today, the group of people who believe in Jesus is "the house of God" and "the house of prayer." 　

May the joy of the Lord become my joy today as well.
