『嘲る者が罰を受けると、浅はかな者が知恵を得る。
　知恵のある人が賢くなると、その人は知識を加える。』

【箴言　21:11】

　「嘲る者」、「浅はかな者」、「知恵のある人」が出てきますが、ヘブル語の言語の意味では、「嘲る者」は、心が閉ざされた者。「浅はかな者」は、心が空っぽの者。「知恵のある人」は、心が神に向かって大きく開かれた者という意味があるそうです。その結果、「嘲る者」は、こらしめても良くならない人、「浅はかな者」は、他人が罰を受けているのを見て、これはいけないと分かる人、そして、「知恵のある人」には、人を活かす知恵が与えられるのです。

　今日も、人を活かす知恵が与えられますように・・・。

「When the scoffer is punished, the simple is made wise;
　But when the wise is instructed, he receives knowledge.」

【Proverbs 21:11】　　

　The “scoffer,” the “simple” and the “wise” are mentioned, but in the sense of the Hebrew language, the “scoffer” are those whose minds are closed. The “simple” is one whose heart is empty. The “wise” means one whose heart is wide open to God. As a result, the “scoffer” is one who does not get better even if he is punished; the “simple” is one who sees others being punished and knows that this is wrong; and the “man of wisdom” is given the wisdom to make the most of others.
