2023.6.22《今日の聖書》詩篇

『主はみことばを送って彼らを癒やし
　滅びの穴から彼らを助け出された。』

【詩篇　107:20】

　ここで言う「彼ら」とは、17節の「愚か者」のことで、人生を滅茶苦茶に生き、死の門に至った人たちです。でも、そんな人たちにも希望を与えてくれるのが今日の詩篇なのです。但し条件があるのです。「主に向かって叫ぶ」という条件なのです。そうすると、癒され、滅びの穴から救い出されるのです。誰でも苦しい時には、「助けて！」と叫びます。神様は、その声を聞いてくださるお方なのです。

　今日も、主に向かって祈ることができますように・・・。

「He sent His word and healed them,
　And delivered them from their destructions.」　

【Psa 107:20】

The "they" here refers to the "fools" of verse 17, those who have lived their lives in a mess and ended up at the gates of death. But today's Psalm gives hope to such people. But there is a condition. They must cry out to the Lord. Then you will be healed and delivered from the pit of destruction. Whenever we are in distress, we cry out, "Help! God hears that cry. God is the one who hears our cries.

May we pray to the Lord today..
