2022.2.26《今日の聖書》使徒の働き

すなわち、キリストが苦しみを受けること、また、死者の中から最初に復活し、この民にも異邦人にも光を宣べ伝えることになると話したのです。

   この場面は、使徒パウロがアグリッパ王に話している所です。ヘロデ・アグリッパ二世は、この当時、パレスチナの一部を統治していたヘロデ王朝の最後の人でした。曾祖父のヘロデ大王は実際にイエス様に会っていました。父アグリッパ一世、大おじヘロデ・アンティパスとみんな福音を聞いていましたが、応答することはありませんでした。永遠の命を得ることができなかったのです。

In this scene, the apostle Paul speaks to King Agrippa. Herod Agrippa II was the last ruler from the Herodian dynasty, part of Palestine at that time. His great-grandfather, Herod the Great, actually met Jesus. His father, Herod Agrippa, and his granduncle Herod Antipas, also heard the gospel, but did not respond to it. They couldn't get eternal life.

 

May we be honest in front of the Lord today as well.
