『争い好きな女と一緒に家にいるよりは、
屋上の片隅に住むほうがよい。』

【箴言　21:9】

口うるさく文句ばっかり言っている人と立派な家に住むよりも、屋上の片隅でも平和に暮らす方がよっぽどましであるという警告の句なのです。確かに、争いばかりで気が休まらない人と一緒にいるよりは心静かに暮らしたいものです。争いと安らぎ、共に心の中の状態です。主なる神様は、いつも平安を注いでくださるのです。

今日も、心静かに過ごせますように・・・。　

「Better to dwell in a corner of a housetop,
Than in a house shared with a contentious woman.」

【Proverbs 21:9】

　It is a warning that it is much better to live peacefully in a corner on a rooftop than to live in a nice house with a person who is always nagging and complaining. Certainly, it is better to live peacefully than to be with someone who is constantly fighting with you. Conflict and peace are both states of mind. The Lord God always pours out peace.
