『主を恐れる者と
　御恵みを待ち望む者とを【主】は好まれる。』

【詩篇　147:11】

　前節に、「神は馬の力を喜ばず人の足の速さを好まれない。」と、書かれてあります。騎兵も歩兵もいらないというのです。戦うための武器は、神のすべての武具を身に着けることなのです。真理の帯・正義の胸当て・平和の福音・信仰の盾・救いのかぶと・御霊の剣を取りなさいと言われるのです。すなわち、神のことばを取りなさいということなのです。　

　今日も、神の武具を身に着けることができますように・・・。

「The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him,
　In those who hope in His mercy.」　

【Psalms 147:11】

　In the previous verse, it is written, "He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man." He does not want cavalry or infantry. The weapon of war is to wear all the armor of God. We are told to take the waist with truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. In other words, we are told to take the Word of God.
