『私は知っています。
　【主】が苦しむ者の訴えを支持し
　貧しい者のために　さばきを行われることを。』

【詩篇　140:12】

この詩人は、経験上知っていたのでしょうか。神様が、苦しむ者や貧しい者の味方であることを。でも、心を空っぽにして神様の前に出ていかないと、満たされないのです。もしも、自分の心が不平不満で、疑心暗鬼で、罵詈雑言で一杯だったら、神様のみ言葉が入る余地はないのです。心を空っぽにして、口を大きく開ける時に、神様の恵みが降り注がれるのです。

　今日も、主の恵みを受け取れますように・・・。　

「I know that the Lord will maintain
　The cause of the afflicted,
　And justice for the poor.」　

【Psalms 140:12】

　Did the poet know from experience? That God is on the side of the afflicted and the poor. But if you don't go before God with an empty heart, you will not be satisfied. If your heart is full of grumbling, doubting, and cursing, there is no room for God's Word. When you empty your mind and open your mouth wide, God's grace will pour down.
