2023.6.15《今日の聖書》詩篇

『主は御民を喜びのうちに導き出された。
　その選ばれた民を喜びの叫びのうちに。』

【詩篇　105:43】

　神様は、アブラハムを選び、イスラエルの民と契約を結びました。しかしながら、彼らはエジプトで４００数年間、奴隷生活を余儀なくされました。神様の計画は、モーセを指導者として、イスラエルの民をエジプトから脱出させ、乳と密の流れる地カナンへと導く事でした。それは、「主の掟を守り、そのみ教えを保つため」でした。紆余曲折はあったものの、神様のご計画は成就したのです。

　今日も、主の壮大なるご計画に心を留めることができますように・・・。

「He brought out His people with joy,
　His chosen ones with gladness.」　

【Psa 105:43】

God chose Abraham and made a covenant with the Israelites. However, they were forced to live in slavery in Egypt for more than 400 years. God's plan was to lead the Israelites out of Egypt and into Canaan, a land of milk and densely flowing water, with Moses as their leader. God's plan was to "keep the law of the Lord and his teachings. Despite the twists and turns, God's plan was fulfilled.

May we keep in mind the Lord's great plan today as well.
