『しかし、その方、すなわち真理の御霊が来ると、あなたがたをすべての真理に導いてくださいます。御霊は自分から語るのではなく、聞いたことをすべて語り、これから起こることをあなたがたに伝えてくださいます。』

【ヨハ16:13／新改訳2017】

　イエス様は、やがて去っていきます。しかし、その後に、助け主なる聖霊様を遣わすと言われたのです。聖霊様の働きは、人々に罪を悔い改めさせること、神の義を理解させること、サタンの働きから守ること。この聖霊様は、今も私たちの中に住んでおられ、共に働いておられるのです。私たちを守ってくださっているのです。

　今日も、聖霊様と共に過ごされますように・・・。

「"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.」

【Joh 16:13／NKJV】

Jesus said that he would leave in a little while, but then he would send the Holy Spirit, the Helper. The work of the Holy Spirit is to make people repent of their sins, to make them understand God's righteousness, and to protect them from the works of Satan. The Holy Spirit still lives among us and works with us. He is protecting us.

May the Holy Spirit be with us today.
