『正しい人は七度倒れても、また起き上がり、
　悪しき者はわざわいでつまずくからだ。』

【箴言　24:16】

　人生には、つまずきや挫折はつきものです。受験失敗、人間関係、会社倒産、夫婦離婚、家族崩壊等々。私は、大体経験していますが、今、安寧のうちに暮らしています。生まれて30年ぐらいは、主を知らない世界にいました。その後40年ぐらいは、主を信じながら暮らしています。主を信じてからが、わざわいやつまずきは多かったような気がします。でも、そのたびに切り抜ける力をいただきました。私の良き理解者であるイエス様が共にいてくださったからです。

　今日も、イエス様によって内なる人が強められますように・・・。

「For a righteous man may fall seven times
　And rise again,
　But the wicked shall fall by calamity.」

【Proverbs 24:16】

　Life is full of stumbles and setbacks. Exam failures, relationships, company bankruptcies, marital divorce, family breakups, and so on. I have experienced most of them, but I am now living in peace. For the first 30 years of my life, I was in a world where I did not know the Lord. For the next 40 years or so, I lived while believing in the Lord. After believing in the Lord, I feel that I have had many difficulties and stumbles. But each time I did, I received the strength to get through it. This is because Jesus, who is my good friend, was with me.

　I pray that today, too, the inner man will be strengthened by Jesus.
