エノクは神とともに歩んだ。神が彼を取られたので、彼はいなくなった。
エノクは神様と共に歩きました。静かに歩きました。喜んで跳び上がることもなく、叫ぶこともなく、何か特別な貢献をしたわけではありませんでした。メトシェラを産み、息子たちや娘たちを産み、365年生きて、死ぬことを見ずに、天に上げられたのです。エノクは、アダムから七代目、生まれた時はアダムは生きていました。それから10代目がノアで、この時に大洪水が起こるのです。その滅亡を静かに予見していたのかも知れません。
今日も、エノクの如く主と共に歩むことができますように・・・。

And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.
Enoch walked with God. He walked quietly. He wasn't willing to jump up, didn't scream, and made no special contribution. He gave birth to Methuselah, gave birth to his sons and daughters, lived 365 years, and was taken away to heaven so that he did not see death. Enoch was the seventh generation from Adam, and when he was born, Adam was alive. Then the 10th generation was Noah, and at this time the great flood occurred. He may have quietly foreseen its destruction.
May we walk with the Lord like Enoch today as well.
