2023.4.29《今日の聖書》詩篇

『まことに　あなたの大庭にいる一日は
　千日にまさります。
　私は悪の天幕に住むよりは
　私の神の家の門口に立ちたいのです。』

【詩篇　84:10】

　作者は、今、どこで歌っているのでしょうか。異教の地で故郷の神殿を思い浮かべながら歌っているのでしょうか。今いる場所が、たとえ異教の地であっても、たとえ苦難の真っ只中であったとしても、創造主なる神様に祈ることができる人は幸いです。神様と自分との関係が明確な人は幸いです。「ヘブル12:2 信仰の創始者であり完成者であるイエスから、目を離さないでいなさい。」

　今日も、あなたの大庭に入ることができますように・・・。

「For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand.

【Psa 84:10】

　Where was the author singing at that time? Was he singing in a pagan land, thinking of the temple back home? Blessed are those who can pray to God the Creator, even if they are in a pagan land, even if they are in the midst of suffering. Blessed are those who have a clear relationship with God. Hebrews 12:2 “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith”
