2022.5.24《今日の聖書》ヤコブの手紙

ですから、兄弟たち。主が来られる時まで耐え忍びなさい。見なさい。農夫は大地の貴重な実りを、初めの雨や後の雨が降るまで耐え忍んで待っています。

　農夫は種を蒔きます。そして、それが成長し、豊かな実をつけるまでに、いろいろな農作業が控えています。でも、土の中を見ることはできません。成長してるかどうかを確かめるためにいちいち掘り起こすことはしません。ただただ信じて待つしかないのです。種まき時に必要な雨や収穫の為に必要な雨が降るまでただただ耐えて、忍んで、待つのです。
 
　今日も、主を待ち望むことができますように・・・。

 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.

【Jam 5:7／NKJV】

Farmers sow seeds. And, until they grow and bear abundant fruits, the farmers do various farming work. But they can't see in the soil. They don't dig up every single time to see if it's growing. They just have to believe and wait. They just endure, endure, and wait until the rain needed for sowing and the rain needed for harvesting.
