『私の目から涙がとめどなく流れ落ちます。
　彼らがあなたのみおしえを守らないからです。』

【詩篇　119:136】

　人々の不従順な生き方を目撃した時に、詩篇の作者は悲しみの為にとめどなく涙を流されました。信仰者の涙は、自分の為だけではなく、隣人を執り成す時にも流されました。イエス様もそうでした。「イエスは都をごらんになり、はらはらと涙をこぼされました」(ＬＢ訳 ルカ19:41)　また、私達が疲れ切って祈れない時には、聖霊様が代わって祈って、執り成してくださるのです。

　今日も、隣人の為に執り成すことができますように・・・。

「Rivers of water run down from my eyes,
　Because men do not keep Your law.」　　

【Psalms 119:136】

　When the psalmist witnessed the disobedient way of life of the people, he wept continuously because of sorrow. The tears of the faithful were shed not only for themselves but also when interceding for their neighbors. Jesus was the same. "As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it" (Luke 19:41, NIV). And when we are too tired to pray, the Holy Spirit prays and intercedes on our behalf.

　May we intercede for our neighbors today as well.
