2022.9.17《今日の聖書》ガラテヤ人への手紙

しかし私には、私たちの主イエス・キリストの十字架以外に誇りとするものが、決してあってはなりません。この十字架につけられて、世は私に対して死に、私も世に対して死にました。

【ガラテヤ人への手紙　6:14／新改訳2017】

　目の欲、肉の欲、暮らし向きの自慢、この世には私たちの欲望を掻き立てるものが次々とやってきます。趣味にスポーツにレジャー、それらは悪いものではありませんが、それが一番になってしまい、神様から離れてしまうと神様は悲しまれるのです。パウロは、それらのものを十字架につけなさいと言いましたが、私は、毎朝起きたら、聖書を読み、祈ってから、自分の好きな事に励んだらいいと思っています。

　今日も、主と共に歩むことができますように・・・。

But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 

【Gal 6:14／NKJV】

The lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, the boasting of one's way of life, and all the other things that stir up our desires come one after another in this world. Hobbies, sports, and leisure activities are not bad, but God is sad when we put them first and turn away from Him. Paul said those things should be crucified. I believe that we should read the Bible every morning when we wake up, pray, and then go on doing what we want to do.
