『私は　愛するあなたの仰せを求めて両手を上げ
　あなたのおきてに思いを潜めます。』

【詩篇　119:48】

　「両手を上げ」とは、顔を天に向けて祈る姿勢でもあります。そして、その思いは、愛する主のおきてに心を巡らせているのです。テモテ書でも、「Ⅰテモ　2:8　どこででも、きよい手を上げて祈りなさい。」と書かれてあります。いつでも、どこでも、心を主に向けて祈っていくなら、神様も大いなる祝福を持って応えてくださるのです。

　今日も、両手を上げて祈ることができますように・・・。

「My hands also I will lift up to Your commandments, Which I love,
　And I will meditate on Your statutes. 」　　　

【Psa 119:48】

　"Lifting up our hands" is also a posture of prayer with our faces turned toward heaven. And this thought is centered on the Lord's ordinances, which we love. Even in the book of Timothy, it is written, "2:8 Pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands." Lift up your righteous hands in prayer wherever you are. God will respond with great blessings if we pray with our hearts turned to the Lord anytime, anywhere.

　May we lift up our hands in prayer today.
