2023.3.16《今日の聖書》詩篇

『神は　天から助けを送って　私を救い
　私を踏みつける者どもを辱められます。　セラ
　神は　恵みとまことを送ってくださいます。』

【詩57:3】

　表題には、「ダビデがサウルから逃れて洞窟にいたときに」と、書かれてあります。サウルは王様なので、国の軍隊も武器も自由に使うことができます。ダビデは、この時、一介の青年ですので、ダビデを慕う少数の人しかいませんでした。その優位性は、サウルにあることは火を見るよりも明らかです。選ぶ道は、降参か逃避、しかしながら、ダビデが選んだのは神への祈祷だったのです。

　今日も、主への信頼の祈りをすることができますように・・・。

「He shall send from heaven and save me;

　God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.」

【Psa 57:3】

The title says: 'when he fled from Saul into the cave. l'. Saul was a king, so he had the country's army and weapons at his disposal. David was a young man at that time, so there were only a few people who adored David. It was perfectly obvious that the advantage lay with Saul. The choice was surrender or flight, but what David chose was prayer to God.

May we pray today, too, a prayer of trust in the Lord...
