『苦しみにあったことは　私にとって幸せでした。
　それにより　私はあなたのおきてを学びました。』

【詩篇　119:71】

　誰でも、苦しみに会うのは嫌なものです。でも、人生は苦しみが多いものです。「花の命は短くて、苦しきことのみ多かりき」と言ったのは林芙美子でしたが、そんな人生であっても、神様に出会うと、幸せだとこの作者は語るのです。マイナス要因がプラス要因に変えられるのです。神様との関係は縦の線、人との関係は横の線。マイナスの横の線に、神様を知ると縦の線が加えられ、プラスとなるのです。

　今日も、神様を知ることができますように・・・。

　That I may learn Your statutes.」　　

【Psa 119:71】

　No one likes to encounter suffering. But life is full of suffering. Fumiko Hayashi said, "The life of a flower is short, and there is only so much suffering." Even in such a life, the author declares that encountering God brings happiness. Negative factors can be transformed into positives. The relationship with God is a vertical line, and the relationship with people is a horizontal line. When you know God, a vertical line is added to the negative horizontal line, and it becomes a positive.

　May we come to know God today.
