『人が火を懐にかき込んだら、
　その衣服は焼けないだろうか。』

【箴言　6:27】

　懐に火を入れたら、衣服は焼けるのです。当然の事です。でも、往々にして人生において、その過ちを犯すのです。ここでは、姦淫の罪を犯す人に警告しているのです。そうすると、二つの家庭の雰囲気が悪くなり、子どもたちはねじけてしまい、近所の噂の的になってしまいます。二人の欲望の結果、二つの家庭が燃え尽きてしまうのです。でも、陥りやすいので、み言葉を心に刻んでいきたいものです。

　今日も、主のみ言葉を心に刻みつけることができますように・・・。　

「Can a man take fire to his bosom,
　And his clothes not be burned?」

　【Proverbs 6:27】

　If you put fire in your pocket, your clothes will burn. It is natural. But often we make that mistake in life. Here we are warning people who commit the sin of adultery. This will cause the atmosphere in the two homes to deteriorate, the children to become twisted, and the neighborhood to become the center of gossip. The result of their desires is that the two families burn out. But it is easy to fall into this trap, so we want to keep the Word of the Lord in our hearts.

　May we keep the Lord's Word in our hearts today....
