『神と人の前に好意を得、
　聡明であれ。』

【箴言　3:4】

　
　神と人とに愛される。思い出されるのは、イエスの１２歳の時の記述です。(ルカ2:52）　「イエスは神と人とにいつくしまれ、知恵が増し加わり、背たけも伸びていった。」そして、ダビデもそうでした。私たちは、人に好意を持たれたいと思いますが、神にまで、その思いを持ち続け、恵みとまことに徹する人は稀なのです。そうありたいものです。

　今日も、主の恵みとまことを覚えることができますように・・・。

「And so find favor and high esteem
　In the sight of God and man.」

【Proverbs 3:4】

　Beloved by God and man. We are reminded of the account of Jesus when he was 12 years old . (Luke 2:52) "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." And so it was with David. We want to be favored by others, but it is rare for us to be gracious and true, even to God. We want to be like that.
