2022.2.4《今日の聖書》
あなたがたは地の塩です。もし塩が塩気をなくしたら、何によって塩気をつけるのでしょうか。もう何の役にも立たず、外に投げ捨てられ、人々に踏みつけられるだけです。5:14 あなたがたは世の光です。山の上にある町は隠れることができません。
「地の塩、世の光」というのは、クリスチャンとして、この世で存在感を示すものである。塩としての存在感が無くなったら、ただ捨てられるだけです。世の光として、この世を照らす存在でなければ、闇が拡がってしまいます。神様の真理の火でこの世を照らし続ける事こそが神様を信じ続ける者の務めなのです。
今日も、主の光を受けて、それを放つものとなりますように・・・。

"You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
"The salt of the earth, the light of the world" shows our presence in this world as Christians. If the salt loses its flavor, it is just thrown out. If we are not the light of the world that shines the world, the darkness will spread. It is the duty of those who continue to believe in God to continue to shine this world with the true light of God.
May we receive the light of the Lord and be the ones who show it today as well.
