2023.3.28《今日の聖書》詩篇

『あなたの道が地の上で
御救いが すべての国々の間で知られるために。』

【詩67:2】

毎日祈っていると、ともすれば、自分の事ばかりになってしまいます。自分の健康が守られること、自分の経済が満たされることなど。「詩67:1 どうか神が私たちをあわれみ祝福し御顔を私たちの上に照り輝かせてくださいますように。」と、神様の恵みに満たされた生活をと祈ってしまうのです。でも、2節では、救いが全世界で知られるようにと書かれてあります。これが一番大事な事なのです。

今日も、主にあって祈りが拡がりますように・・・。

「That Your way may be known on earth,
Your salvation among all nations.」　

【Psa 67:2】

When we pray every day, we tend to think only of ourselves. We pray for our own health, our own financial well-being, and so on. We might pray for a life filled with God's grace, saying, "Ps 67:1 May God have mercy on us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us." But verse 2 says that our salvation may be known among all nations. This is the most important thing.

May our prayers expand in the Lord today as well.
