『私の祈りが　御前への香として
　手を上げる祈りが　夕べのささげ物として
　立ち上りますように。』

【詩篇　141:2】

　玄関を出ると、金木犀の芳しい香りが漂ってくると、気持ちが良いものです。私たちは、どんな香りを放っているのでしょうか。芳しい香りならいいのでしょうが、鼻持ちならぬ香りならいただけません。パウロは聖書の中で、「キリストを知る知識のかおり」、「かぐわしいキリストのかおり」と表現しました。人生の香りは、芳しいものとしたいものです。

　今日も、主への祈りが芳しいものとなりますように・・・。　
　

「Let my prayer be set before You as incense,
　The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.」　

【Psalms 141:2】

　When you step outside the entrance and the fragrant scent of osmanthus lingers in the air, it brings about a pleasant feeling. What kind of fragrance are we emitting? If it is a pleasant fragrance, it is good, but if it is an unpleasant one, it is not desirable. Paul expressed in the Bible the "fragrance of His knowledge" and the "fragrance of Christ " We desire the fragrance of our lives to be pleasant.

　May our prayers to the Lord be a sweet fragrance today as well.
