2022.1.27《今日の聖書》ヨハネの手紙第一
私たちが神の子どもと呼ばれるために、御父がどんなにすばらしい愛を与えてくださったかを、考えなさい。事実、私たちは神の子どもです。世が私たちを知らないのは、御父を知らないからです。
神様は愛なるお方であり、また、義なるお方なのです。だから、愛に溢れてはいますけれども、罪の汚れを見過ごすお方ではないのです。だけど、人間を愛する故に神様の前に出られる方法を考えだしました。それは、御一人子なるイエス様を送ってくださり、信じた人には義の衣を着せて神様の前に立たせてくださるようにしてくださったのです。神様の子どもとしてくださったのです。
今日も、主の愛に応答することができますように・・・。

Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
God is love and righteousness. So, although he is full of love, he is not the one who overlooks the uncleanliness of sin. But God devised a way for us to come before him because he loves humans. That is, sent his only son Jesus. He covered those who believe in him with a robe of righteousness and made us stand in front of God. He gave the right to become children of God.
May we respond to the love of the Lord today as well.
