2022.2.28《今日の聖書》テモテへの手紙　第二

神は私たちを救い、また、聖なる招きをもって召してくださいましたが、それは私たちの働きによるのではなく、ご自分の計画と恵みによるものでした。

（テモテへの手紙　第二　1:9）【新改訳2017】

　 

　神様は、私たちを愛し、選び、私たちの為にイエス様を遣わし、死に渡され、復活によって死を滅ぼされました。私たちが何か神様に貢献したことは何もありません。ただただ神様の恵みなのです。私たちがしなければならないのは、それに応答することだけなのです。

 　今日も、主の愛に感謝することができますように・・・。

  who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,

God loved us, chose us, sent Jesus for us, let him die, and broke the power of death by resurrection. We have never contributed to God. It's only by God's grace. All we can do is respond to his grace.
