2023.2.23《今日の聖書》詩篇

『ご覧ください。
　あなたは　私の日数を手幅ほどにされました。
　あなたの御前では　私の一生はないも同然です。
　人はみなしっかり立ってはいても
　実に空しいかぎりです。　セラ』

【詩39:5】

　神は無限、人間は有限。神は創造主、人間は被造物。人間の人生は短く、何の為に生きるのかを思い煩う。ここでは、私たちの人生を「手幅ほど」「ないも同然」「空しい」と表現されています。何だかやりきれない気がします、このままでは。でも、聖書では、空しさを知ったら、神の永遠の命を得なさいと言われるのです。「伝12:1 あなたの若い日に、あなたの創造者を覚えよ。わざわいの日が来ないうちに、また「何の喜びもない」と言う年月が近づく前に。」

　今日も、創造主を覚えることができますように・・・。

「Indeed,
　You have made my days as handbreadths,
　And my age is as nothing before You;
　Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor. Selah」

【Psa 39:5】

God is infinite, man is finite. God is the Creator, man is the creature. Human life is short, and we wonder what we are living for. Here, our life is described as "handbreadths," "nothing," and "vapor". As it is, we can only feel unmotivated. But the Bible says that when we know emptiness, we must gain God's eternal life. Ecclesiastes 12:1 Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, and your days of trouble shall not come. Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”

May we remember our Creator today as well.
