2022.9.19《今日の聖書》イザヤ書
『主は国々の間をさばき、多くの民族に判決を下す。彼らはその剣を鋤に、その槍を鎌に打ち直す。国は国に向かって剣を上げず、もう戦うことを学ばない。』
人類最初の殺人は、兄カインが弟アベルを殺した事でした。それ以降、今も戦争は起こっているのです。それは、カインが自省ではなく、相手に嫉妬を起こしたからでした。自分を省みることに敏感で、他人を責めることに鈍感だったら、争いは起こらないのです。
今日も、主の御手の中で過ごされますように・・・。

He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.
The murder of brother Cain by brother Abel was the first murder for mankind. Since then, wars have been waged even today. It was because Cain was not self-reflective, but jealous of his brother. If we were sensitive to self-examination and insensitive to blaming others, there would be no conflict.
