2023.6.26《今日の聖書》詩篇

『あなたの愛する者たちが助け出されるよう
　あなたの右の手で救い　私に答えてください。』

【詩篇　108:6】

　「あなたの愛する者たち」とは、神様が愛してやまない私たち自身なのです。この作者は、神様に感謝が溢れ、夜明け前に起きだしたほどでした。具体的に何の問題があって何に感謝しているのかは分かりませんが、「あなたの右の手で」、神様ご自身の力で救い出して下さいと待望し、祈祷しているのです。私たちの問題が大きければ大きいほど、祈る頻度は多くなり、その深度も深くなるのです。そして、神様に対する期待も当然大きくなるのです。

　今日も、主の前に心を注ぎだすことができますように・・・。

「That Your beloved may be delivered,
　Save with Your right hand,
　and hear me.」　

【Psa 108:6】

The "your beloved ones" are ourselves, whom God loves. The author was so overflowing with gratitude to God that he got up before dawn. We don't know exactly what the problem is and what he is thankful for, but he is waiting and praying for God to deliver him "with your right hand," God's own power. The greater our problems, the more often we pray and the deeper we pray. And of course, our expectations of God will also increase.

May we pour out our hearts before the Lord today.
