『私の主　【神】よ
　まことに　私の目はあなたに向いています。
　私はあなたに身を避けています。
　私のたましいを危険にさらさないでください。』

【詩篇　141:8】

　「危険にさらさないでください」と祈っています。神様の全面的な守りがあるならば、そんな祈りは出てこないように思えますが、信頼を寄せれば寄せる程、また疑いも増すのです。信頼と疑いの葛藤の中から真の祈りはでてくるのです。私たちは十字架の血潮によって罪赦された者ですが、それで終わりではなく、絶えず十字架の下で祈らせられるのです。

　今日も、祈る一日となりますように・・・。　

「But my eyes are upon You,
　O God the Lord;
　In You I take refuge;
　Do not leave my soul destitute.」　

【Psalms 141:8】

　Psalmist prays, "Do not leave my soul destitute" If we had God's total protection, it would seem that such a prayer would not be possible, but the more we trust, the more we doubt. It is in the conflict between trust and doubt that true prayer emerges. We have been forgiven of our sins through the blood of the cross, but that is not the end, we are continually led to pray beneath the cross.

　May today be a day filled with prayer.
