There are many ground slopes in Tokyo

I am wondering why there are many sharp and detailed ground slopes in Tokyo. I admit that it's annoying because if ever I'll use my bicycle, it's really tiring. I had lived in different prefectures with big slopes but not sharp nor detailed and it was easy to use my bicycle except here in Tokyo.

I think it is one of the negative things that people can experience so far and in order to solve that problem, you need to buy an automatic bicycle or live near the stations.
