Midterm test

The door for my English learning has opened.

"I am not interested in other subjects, however, his teaching style is very interesting. Moreover, I have just realized that I don't need to be smart when learning English. Only memorization and repeating are required for the language."

"So..., in the first place, I should learn English words by heart by writing them down again and again for the mini exam."

I started to memorize English words by writing them down over and over again.

Every time I got the good score, I just felt happy although they were just the mini-exams.

I felt like reading the English sentences on the textbook. I opened it, but I could not understand the contents except for the words I memorized.

"I don't know why "s" is added to this word..."

If I were an elentary school student (at that time I never studied), I would give up learning. However, I didn't want to give up learning English at the moment.

"I want to know what the sentences mean."

I looked for the textbook for 1st grade of junior high school in my room and then I looked at the textbooks and compared them.

"Is this "s" of the third person singular...?"

It took a long time to read a sentence comparing them over and over again, which often made me irritated, however, I didn't want to stop learning the language.

While learning the grammar, I came up with an idea.

"If I memorize all the English sentences on the textbook with Japanese translations, I can get the high score..., I think."

I was really simple-minded..., even if I remember now.

After my hard work, I received the result of the test at school and got 76 out of 100...

The score was not so good, however, I was very glad to get it and actually satisfied with the result.

The experience told me a thing.

"I could make it this time..."

It was worth a lot.
