ブリスベンのバスで忘れ物した時

ワーホリが始まって4週間目。ホームステイが8週間だから、折り返し。
終わるまでにはもうちょっと意思疎通ができるようになりたいと思う22日目。

今日は、月曜日ということで語学学校でテストを受けた。

学生の頃まではテストはすごく嫌いだったけど今は違う。

学生の頃は、テスト勉強を必死でやっていた。

いい学校に入るために。

卒業するためにというのが目的だったからだ。

でも、語学学校は3月が終われば点数がいくら悪くても強制的に卒業だ。

だから、自分にとってここで受けるテストは立ち位置を把握するという捉え方をしている。

こうやって、自分でなんでも決められる勉強はすごく楽しい。

頑張ることも大切かもしれないけど、それよりは楽しく英語力を伸ばせている気がする。

いっぱい友達と英語で話して、スピーキングの力ももっと伸ばしていきたい。

I had a test in language school today because it was Monday. When I was a student, I hated tests, but now it is different.
I studied really hard to enter university or to graduate from university.
But, it is completely diffirent situation now.
I have to leave here at the end of March even if I get a bad score.
So, the test in language school is a kind of index for me on how to improve my English skills.
That's why I don't feel stressed and it's so fun to study like this.
I think it is imporant to study hard, but I want to focus on talking with my friends because I'm in another country.
Also, I hope it helps improving my English skills.

午後からは、市役所に行ってきた。

前にここで書いたけど、帽子を無くした。

もし、ブリスベンの公共交通機関で無くしものをした場合、市役所に2ヶ月間預けられるらしい。

そんな記事を見つけて、あるのか探してきた。

いつも英会話でお世話になっている図書館に市役所の支店があったので、そこに行った。

係員に、バスで忘れ物をしたと伝えると、専用のウェブサイトで調べてもらうことができる。

結果は、見つからず。。。

緑色の帽子やら、白のシルクハットの忘れ物はあったみたいだけど、自分の帽子は見当たらなかった。

もしかしたら、まだバスの運転手がまだ探してないだけかもだから水曜日くらいにまたおいでって言われた。

正直、バスの中で無くしたか定かではないけど、とりあえずまた水曜日に行ってみようかな。

I went to the city council in Brisbane after school. As I mentioned before, I lost my cap. If you loose something in public transports in Brisbane, it seems city council would keep lost property for 2 months.
So I went there.
When I asked the staff, he searched it on dedicated site.
After all, he couldn't find it.
There was a green cap and a white silk hat on dedicated site but there wasn't my cap.
The attendant said, "Perhaps, the bus driver didn't find it, so you can visit on Wedensday again".
To be honest I'm not sure whether I lost it in the bus or not.
But I wonder if I should visit council again on Wednesday.
