1年8ヶ月ぶりにこんにちはこんばんは

またお会いできて嬉しいです！

今日は、最近の日本での生活についてお話しします。

日本に帰ってきてから、この国についてのいろいろなことに気づきました。

例えば、シアトルではもうフェイスマスクをする必要はありません。しかし、日本では外でマスクをする人もいる。

（最近は電車の中でも半数の人しかしていないが）。。

一時期はこんな感じだったよね。

また、シアトルでの生活と比べると、日本は生活しやすいと感じました。

第一に、日本は何でも安くて品質がいいと思います。

日本ではすべてが、超コストパフォーマンスに優れています。

第二に、コンピューターゲーム、アニメ、コミックなどの、日本の文化をより簡単に楽しむことができますよね。漫画を買いたければ、どこでも手に入ります。

第三に、どこを歩いてもとても安全で、夜中に歩き回っても危険を感じることはありません。街中で露出度の高い服を着ている人、スマートフォンを見続けている人がいても、日本では許されます。

このような要素が世界中の観光客を惹きつけているのだと気づきました。

さらに、シアトルでの経験は私のキャリアを変えたと思います。

シアトルでたくさんの学生と交流したが、多くの学生がコンピューターサイエンスやデータサイエンス、ビジネスを学ぶことに情熱を持っていました。シアトルにはマイクロソフト、アマゾン、エクスペディアといった超有名企業があります。そのために、学生たちは勉強を続ける意欲が湧くのだと思います。なぜならその努力は大きなお金になるから（笑）。

とにかく、私はUWの学生に影響されたようで、今ではデータサイエンスとマーケティングを学ぶ大学院の入試に合格しました。留学前の私はGPAが2.0を下回るようなダメ学生だったので、UWでの経験は私のキャリアを劇的に変えたかもしれません。留学後は、ビギナーレベルのデータサイエンティストとして企業でインターンを始めました（東京の最低時給です。けど楽しい）。

バスケや野球のデータに触れることができてて本当に楽しい！！

一方で、シアトルでの生活が恋しくなることもあります。

今思い返しても、シアトルの文化は大好きでした。シアトルは日本と比べて多様な雰囲気があると思います。各人が他人を尊重するのはもちろんですが、集団で共有するルールがありません。なので、他人を尊重しなければ、もっと混沌とした雰囲気になってしまう為、各自が安全であるように努めるために他人を受け入れる。私はそんな文化が大好きでした。

シアトルのきれいな水と新鮮な空気も大好きです。日本に帰ってきて、シアトルの空気のきれいさを実感しました。

このように、世界や日本について総合的な視点を得ることができ、シアトルでの経験は私の世界観を大きく変えました。

だからね。。。！！！

海外に行くのをためらっている人は、ぜひ行ってみてください！

ベッドに横たわって死を待つ瞬間を想像してみてください。その瞬間に人生を振り返るアルバムを頭に思い浮かべる時。。。

そのような死の間際、あなたは日本での生活だけでなく、他の国での生活も思い出すことになります。そのようなアルバムの１ページにその記憶が浮かぶのは、本当に美しいことだと思います。そんな外国での経験を悔やむ人はいるでしょうか。

死の淵で思い出すキラキラのダイヤモンド、それを創り出すのは思い出に他ならない

この記事が誰かの背中を押して、新しい世界へ連れて行ってくれるなら、こんなに嬉しいことはありません。

Hi, I am really glad to see you again!

Today, I am gonna talk about the my life in Japan these days.

After coming back to Japan, I realized lots of things about this country from different perspective.

For example, there is no need to wear a face mask in Seattle any more. But in Japan, some people wear face masks outside.

But these days, only half of people use that even in a train.

I also found it more easy to live compared to the life in Seattle.

First, everything is super cheap and great quality in Japan. For me, everything is super cost-effective here.

Second, it is more easy to enjoy Japanese culture such as computer games, Anime, comics, and stuff like that. If you wanna buy manga, you can get the books almost anywhere.

Third, I noticed everywhere is so safe that I can walk around after midnight without feeling dangerous. People wearing revealing clothing in the street who keep watching there smartphones is allowed here.

I noticed that these elements attract foreign people from around the world.

Additionally, experience in Seattle has changed my career I guess.

I had interacted lots of students in Seattle and many students were passionate about learning computer science ,data science, and business. I guess that is because of the geography. Seattle has super famous companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Expedia, stuff like that. I think that motivated students to keep studying and because the effort will pay big money to them. Anyway, I was apparently affected by the students in UW and now I passed graduate school entrance exam where I will learn data science and marketing. Before the study abroad I was bad students like my GPA was under 2.0 so the experience in UW might changed my career dramatically. After the entrance exam, I also started internship at a company as a beginner level data scientist.

On the other hand, I miss the life in Seattle sometime.

I love the culture in Seattle. I guess there is more diverse atmosphere in Seattle compared to Japan. Each people respects others course there is no collective rule that is shared by people. Without respecting others, the atmosphere would be more chaotic so each people makes an effort to keep it safe. I love such culture.

I love the clean water and fresh air in Seattle. After coming back to Japan, I realized how clean the air in Seattle was.

As you can see, I got comprehensive perspectives about the world and Japan and the experience in Seattle changed my way to see the world.

So…

If you hesitate going abroad, you should do that!!

Imagine the moment you lies on a bed just waiting for death. You will try to make the best album of your life.

On the edge of death, you will remember not only the life in Japan, but also the life in other country. I think that is beautiful. How could you regret the experience?

I am so glad if this posts push someone to the new world.
